Our 3 Step Guide to Make Your End-Of-Summer Garden Party POP

Seriously, how much do we LOVE a good garden party?

A great one can make us feel like the fabulous, hashtag-worthy party superheroes we are.
Am I right? Of course I’m right, you #partysuperhero, you.

Let’s be real…garden parties are LIFE!

2. DRINKS THAT SPARKLE LIKE THE DIAMONDS THEY ARE
It’s summer, it’s warm, it’s time to lighten up those drinks and make them refreshing and (you guys, I can’t stress this enough)… REFILLABLE!

The one thing you don’t want to do as the party host, is feel compelled to walk around and refill drinks. With all the cool looking drink dispensers out there, it’s high time us party gods and goddesses get to actually…you know…ENJOY our own parties without working the whole night. Fill your dispensers with light, refreshing, sangrias. Leave the wine bottles out, either in ice buckets, or let them stand alone, pre-opened with the cork in, on the tables. Trust me when I say this: Your guests will actually appreciate the opportunities to help themselves to drinks without having to ask or wait for the refill. A couple of water stations, some cold beer for those who partake, and you’re all set.

3. DECOR AS WHIMSICAL AS A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM…BUT AS PRACTICAL AS GRANDMA’S MASON JARS
Say it with me now, “WE ARE NOT OVER THE MASON JAR TREND YET”.  Whew. Feels so good to say it! I mean, there is just something so magical about Mason Jars with lights, burlap table runners, and wooden planks.

I totally mean it. Put Mason Jars EVERYWHERE. Put them in your bathroom with candles. Put them in your kitchen window to contain your budding herb garden. And for the outdoor party, PUT THEM IN YOUR TREES! Check out these solar Mason Jar string lights on Amazon. Can…Not…Resist…

Burlap and Herbs

You know that one herb bush (rosemary, bay leaf), that is amazing and wonderful, but you use like…10 leaves a year from it? Check out this DIY Burlap and Herb table runner. SOOOO CUTE!!!! Just tie your herb stems and run them down the center, put a couple flowers and candles (yes, in Mason Jars) on the table, and voila! PERFECTION. Plus it will smell incredible.

Guys, I saw this done at a party last week and my gasp of glee was audible. I literally can’t think of a simpler way to spruce up your outdoor Italian table. You could even put bunches of herbs or brightly colored Gerbera Daisies in these cans for contrast. The possibilities are endless.
