Ingredients
- 1 Double-crust Pie Crust (Top & Bottom)
- 4 Cups Red Huckleberries
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 5 TBSP Corn Starch
- 3 TBSP Butter, separated into 1 TBSP pats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Prepare pie pan with bottom crust, leaving enough overhang to pinch together top crust at finish
- Mix Huckleberries, Sugar, and Corn Starch together until evenly mixed
- Pour Huckleberry mixture into prepared bottom crust, then cover with top crust
- Decorate, score, or crimp top crust as desired
- Bake over a cookie sheet (to prevent over-spill on oven) at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then drop temperature to 350 degrees and continue cooking for 30-35 minutes.
